Instant Ramen and Pepperoni Lasagna

- + Small or medium baking dish.

INSTRUCCIONES
Step 1:
Preheat the oven. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
Step 2:
The Base. Arrange the 4 blocks of dry ramen noodles in the bottom of the baking dish, side by side.
Step 3:
The Flavor. Open the seasoning sachets that come with the noodles and sprinkle the contents evenly over the pasta blocks.
Step 4:
The Sauces. Pour the tomato sauce over the noodles, trying to cover them completely. Then, pour in the heavy cream. Using a spatula, spread the cream cheese over the top, creating a white coating.
Step 5:
Cheese and Toppings. Cover the entire surface with the grated mozzarella cheese. Arrange the pepperoni slices on top of the cheese.
Step 6:
The Final Touch. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese and dried oregano on top. Finish with a drizzle of olive oil.
Step 7:
Bake. Take the dish to the oven and cook for 20 to 25 minutes. It will be ready when the sauce is bubbly around the edges and the cheese on the surface has melted and browned to perfection.
Step 8:
Rest and Serve. Remove the lasagna from the oven and, very importantly, let it rest for about 5 minutes before cutting it. This will help it to settle and not fall apart when serving.
TIPS
- + Liquid is Key: Make sure the noodles are well covered with the tomato sauce and cream. This liquid is the one that will cook them in the oven. If it seems too dry, don't hesitate to add an extra drizzle of sauce or even a little water in the corners.
- + Variety of Fillers: Be creative! You can add other ingredients between the layers or as a topping, such as sautéed mushrooms, cooked ground beef (bolognese), pepper chips or olives.
- + Rest is Non-Negotiable: As with a traditional lasagna, rest before cutting is essential. It gives the noodles time to absorb excess liquid and for the layers to settle.
- + Choose your Flavor: You can use instant noodles of any flavor (chicken, meat, etc.), as the seasoning will provide an extra flavor base to the dish.
