Step 2:
Cook the base. In a small pot over medium heat, pour the oats and the liquid of your choice (water, coconut milk, or a mixture). Stir and let it start to heat up.
Step 3:
Infusion of superpowers. Once the oats start to thicken, it's time to add the flavor. Add the cinnamon, vanilla, a spoonful of carob and chopped dried figs.
Step 4:

TIPS
- + Peruvian Superfoods: La Maca It is an Andean root known for being an incredible natural energizer that improves physical and mental endurance. La Algarrobina, on the other hand, is a natural sweetener full of iron and calcium, ideal for combating fatigue. They are the perfect dynamic duo!
- + Consistency to your taste: If you prefer a more liquid oatmeal, simply add a little more water or milk at the end of cooking. If you want it thicker, cook it a couple more minutes.
- + Meal Prep: You can make a large batch of these oats and store it in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Just warm it up in the morning and add the fresh toppings.
- + Vary your toppings: Don't hesitate to experiment. Chia seeds, blueberries, shredded coconut or a little pollen would also look great.
